Artist Outreach Manager / 2020-2021
at SESSIONS - SAN FRANCISCO, CA
I had been touring the world 8 months out of the year and making records full-time; but when the pandemic wrecking ball came mid-tour, March 2020, I was forced to stop and eventually landed a job at tech start-up SESSIONS. It was a livestreaming, virtual concert platform founded by Tim Westergren (Pandora). While there, I secured partnerships w/ marquee artists Andrew Bird, José James, La Luz, Fat Tony, etc, that sold over 6k+ tickets, reached 29M impressions, and made up 32% of Q1 bids goal of the entire sales department. The work I did played a direct part in social proofing the brand with zeitgeist artists and created a platform that artists wanted to be a part of.
- Educated network about SESSIONS, closed partnerships and maintained accounts with Andrew Bird, Fat Tony, Vieux Farka Toure, etc.
- Collabrated w/ product & stakeholders to scale experiential product offerings of livestream products
- Led livestream event operations to ensure smooth broadcasts and revenue targets were hit
- Account managed for a vast pipeline of accounts in CRM and across multiple systems/applications (Slack and Google Workspace)
- Processed and relayed data, reports, sales performance and feedback to stakeholders
- Analyzed aggregate data from streaming, Pollstar, Meta, etc. for outreach and securing partnerships
- Tracked ticket sales across systems, and collab'd with marketing, product, and sales to drive revenue targets resulting in 6k+ ticket sales, 29M impressions, and $315k in closed bids (31.5% of entire Q1 Sales goal)
